BE IT RESOLVED, that Amendment 3 to Agreement PR00000886 with Delta Dental of Minnesota, Hennepin Health’s dental network and a provider of administrative services, extending the end date to April 30, 2025; increasing the not to exceed amount by $15,000,000 for a new total not to exceed amount of $32,250,000, amending the EXCLUSIONS AND DEBARMENT section; ADDITIONAL MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES REQUIREMENTS section; WRITTEN AGREEMENT, DISCLOSURES section; Exhibit II, PRODUCTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES; Exhibit IV, PAYMENT FOR SERVICES; EXHIBIT V, SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS; adding ATTACHMENT A1 be approved; the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Amendment on behalf of the County; and that the Controller be authorized to dispense funds as directed. |

Agreement PR00000886 with Delta Dental of Minnesota, Hennepin Health’s dental network and a provider of administrative services expires October 31, 2022.
Current Request: Approval of Amendment 3 to Agreement PR00000886 will:
- Extend end date through April 30, 2025
- Add the Enhanced Care Coordination and payment for Enhanced Care Coordination language
- Clarify the Disclosure of Ownership Language
- Update the dental provider network expansion language
- Update the call center standards and reporting frequency language
- Update the eligibility file load language
- Add the Administrative Fee increase language
- Update the listing of reports and data files
- Update the Performance Guarantee language
- Update the language of the Agreement to comply with 2022 DHS contract changes
The agreement with Delta Dental of Minnesota includes the pass through of medical expenses. This request increases the NTE by $15,000,000. The new NTE is $32,250,000.
This board action request aligns with Hennepin County disparity reduction efforts to improve access to culturally specific/sensitive health services and increase community well-being. | |
