Background:
Through resolution 21-0282 the Board accepted $253,072 receivable from DHS for the Red Door Clinic to assist in providing targeted training and distribution of Naloxone in accordance with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration to prevent opioid overdose and reduce harms associated with opioid use.
Amendment 1 to agreement A2110766 will allow for changes to budget line items between funding periods within the agreement, with no changes to the overall budget and to the name of one attachment found in section “a. Compensation:” editing the name of the budget document from “Attachment B” to “Attachment B-1.” There are no other changes to this agreement.
This request reduces disparities in the health domain by targeting lifesaving medication and education to Native American residence and families who are disproportionately affected by the opioid epidemic and opioid use disorder.
