2018 Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority levy and budget
Resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners adopts a final tax levy of $8,455,995 for general operating purposes; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 2018 Budget, attached, be approved at $11,238,640.

Background:

History: Resolution 17-HCHRA-0039 (adopted September 26, 2017) set the Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment (HCHRA) maximum levy for 2018 at $8,455,955 with a budget of $11,238,640.

 

The 2018 HCHRA budget supports:

 

  • Affordable housing activities 52 percent (or $5.8 million), which includes the Affordable Housing Incentive Fund.
  • Community and economic development activities 32 percent (or $3.6 million), which includes the Transit Oriented Development Program.
  • Operations and administrative activities 16 percent (or $1.8 million).
