BE IT RESOLVED, that Amendment 7 to Agreement A070653 with LegalEdge Software, for case management software maintenance and support services to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office (HCAO) extending the contract period to July 31, 2019, increasing the contract by $20,000 for a new total not to exceed amount of $451,506 be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Amendment on behalf of the county; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse the funds as directed.

LegalEdge is the Hennepin County Attorney's Office (HCAO) vendor purchased legacy electronic case management system, purchased in 1998. It is still being used in the Adult Services Division. A new system will likely be built for Adult Services in 2019 which will eliminate the need for LegalEdge.
This technology request has been reviewed and approved by the office of the Hennepin County CIO.
