In accordance with Minnesota Statute 383B.28, subdivision (i), “A (Human Resources) board member may be removed from office by the county board for cause, after a copy of the charges has first been given to the member and opportunity of being publicly heard before the county board, upon not less than ten days' written notice. A majority vote of the county board shall be required for removal.”

Ms. Pabon was notified by email, regular U.S. mail and certified mail on July 14, 2018 that she has the opportunity to be publicly heard at the July 24, 2018 Committee meeting. This notification contained the record of the attendance and communication issues.
