BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners confirms the appointment of Margo Geffen to the unclassified position of Facility Services Director, effective August 21, 2018. |

The County Board's Open Appointments Policy and MN Statutes Section 383B.102 require that appointments to the unclassified service have confirmation by the Board of County Commissioners.
The County Administrator is recommending Ms. Margo Geffen be confirmed for appointment to the unclassified position of director of Facility Services. Ms. Geffen has a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the University of St. Thomas and brings over 15 years of commercial real estate experience including construction and development, property management, and property acquisition/disposition.
Ms. Geffen has managed the Housing and Development division for Hennepin County Public Works since 2014.
As required by the Open Appointments Policy, a list of final applicants who interviewed for this position is on file with the Clerk of the County Board.
