Background:
Hennepin County continues to contribute staff to modernization projects at the state. This is a formal agreement between the Minnesota Department of Human Services (including MN.IT @ DHS) and Hennepin County for the purpose of reimbursing the cost of county contributions to the development and implementation of business processes and IT projects, as allowed under the terms of the approved federal Advanced Planning Document (APD) authorizing this development. It is intended for employees who spend a significant time, greater than 40 hours per fiscal year/APD period, performing activities directly related to serving and performing the functions of a project team member on APD-covered activities for APD-funded projects.
Hennepin County employees involved in these activities are listed in the agreement. Employees named in this agreement retain their status as county employees, keeping the same salary and benefits to which they would be entitled as county employees. This agreement is subject to annual review and renewal, aligned with the annual APD process.
Through Agreement A189361 employees' salaries and benefits will be reimbursed up to $200,000 for the period January 1, 2019 through September 30, 2019.
